Upcoming Meetings 2026
The third Wednesday of each month at 2pm at The Stevenson Centre
21 January 2026 - Sing - along with Ben. Guest speaker will be Ryan Parker, animal conservationist.
18 February 2026 - Sing-along with Ben. Guest speaker will be Philip Richardson on Sudbury's history.
18 March 2026 - Sing-along with Ben. Guest speaker will be City of London Guide, David Williams, giving us the history of silk weaving.
15 April 2026 - sing along with Ben. Guest speaker will be Ivy Smith, specialist Parkinson's nurse.
20 May 2026 - sing-along with Ben. Guest speaker will be Ashley Cooper on Sudbury and Cornard in The Swinging Sixties in memories and photos. There will also be a raffle.
17 June 2026 - Sing-along with Ben. Guest speaker Brian Thurlough of Borley Rectory, possibly Britain's most haunted house!
15 July 2026 - Sing-along with Ben. Talk by Kirsty to assist members who may need help in claiming benefits.
19 August 2026 Tea Party and fund-raising raffle. Music to possibly be provided by a shanty band depending on availability.
16 September 2026 - sing-along with Ben. Speaker to be announced.
21 October 2026 - Sing-along with Ben. Speaker will be David Card retired RAF navigator . Talk on Service For The Government of Oman.
18 November 2026 Sing-along with Ben. Speaker to be announced.
11 DECEMBER 2026 - NO STEVENSON CENTRE MEETING. THIS MONTH'S MEETING WILL INSTEAD BE OUR XMAS LUNCH AT NEWTON GOLF CLUB.
For the above meetings (other than Xmas lunch, which is from 12:00 to 16:00) please arrive at 1:45 for a 2 pm start. Finishes at 4 pm.

Working Age/Young Onset Group
The first Thursday of each month at 7pm, The Maldon Grey
Informal Get-Togethers at The Maldon Grey pub on Cats Lane, Great Cornard CO10 2RZ. We meet on the first Thursday of each month at 7pm, or whenever you can get there!
You are all welcome to both evening and afternoon meetings - although the evening meetings may be better suited to those who work normal daytime hours and can't make it to our afternoon meetings.
